Ayurveda is an ancient, complex medical system and it is also simply put, the wisdom of life—a way of living in harmony with nature around you and also knowing the nature within you. The aims of Ayurveda and Yoga are the same—to offer us a path to self-discovery.

It is easy to forget how connected we are to everything around us. Yet daily cycles and seasonal rhythms—should we choose to lean into them—are the ultimate guide to navigating our wellness and connecting to our body's innate wisdom. Spring is a season of renewal, where we journey from the cold, damp dormancy of Winter into the heat, fire and activity of Summer. The days grow warmer and longer, the snow and ice begin to melt and nature reawakens from its dormant state to blossom forth in new growth. We are invited to do the same, setting roots that will sustain us through Fall.

This four-week series introduces the foundations and practical applications of Ayurveda & Yoga into our daily routines and rituals. These simple yet effective practices span a range of focuses; some are more broad themes, others are specific—some dietary, some meditative, some yoga or breath-based, and others geared to sleep or self-care. Some are universal and timeless, others are more individualized where one person's medicine could be another's poison.

The goal of this series is to help you to embody your deep relationship with nature, to discover your uniqueness, and to empower you to create a consistent, steadfast and meaningful practice that allows you to feel connected to yourself and the world around you each day.
