Ayurveda is a 5,000+ year-old holistic healing system and sister science to Yoga that provides an elegant understanding of the interplay between our body, mind and spirit through the lens of the five elements.
In a series of seasonal offerings, join Sona in exploring a way of living skillfully with nature's rhythms in order to bring balance at all levels of one's being. The aims of Ayurveda and Yoga are the same—bringing balance to the body to support balance of the mind and spirit, and in so doing, offering us a unique path to self-realization.
This workshop introduces the foundations and practical applications of Ayurveda into our daily lives. Sona will provide guides and checkpoints to optimally shift your diet, sleep and rest, movement, yoga and lifestyle practices with the current season and for your unique constitution, as well as to assess current imbalances that may be present.
Ayurveda is a simple, effective, personalized, practical and preventative approach to optimal health. Take this opportunity to pause, reconnect to your body's innate wisdom and empower yourself to create a meaningful practice that allows you to tap into the remembrance that you are nature, and nature is you.
