HEART MEDICINE: Move, Chant, Restore, Nidra

The shift of momentum in our external world has afforded us the opportunity to shift internally as well, to slow our pace and explore a rhythm that actually serves us. But how do we do this? Certainly a lot of trial and error, yes. AND, we can learn to lean in and tune in to our secret superpower - THE HEART.

Creating a new normal from the seat of the mind may feel productive, but often leads us further from contentment and balance. Because the mind is sneaky, we tend to continue the very patterns that don't serve us, though they are often disguised as something "new." Studies from the Heart Math Institute have shown that heart energy is at least 5000 times greater than that of the mind. The heart is our most potent tool for transformation. Love is the answer, quite literally. 

During this 2 hour experience, we will explore tools that help us to directly access the heart and begin to uncover deeper emotions that block us from heart energy. This workshop will include movement and kriya to clear the cobwebs of the heart, followed by mantra to wear away at anything that is NOT love. We will complete the experience with restoration and conscious rest to allow time and space for tension to release, our bodies to soften, energy to flow and the heart to refuel. 

Living and loving from the heart is the greatest practice we can undertake in our lifetime. Join me from the comfort of your home as we practice together, wrapped in the embrace of our collective heart!

*NOTE* Please gather some props for class. Whatever you have at home is perfectly fine. They do not need to be specific yoga props. I suggest 3 blankets, 3 pillows/cushions or yoga bolsters, 2 yoga blocks (optional), 1 hand towel, and a light scarf/washcloth/eye pillow. Make sure your space is warm and cozy.
